Circle Seal XVH Series excess flow valves automatically close leak-tight whenever a flow spike may occur, preventing uncontrolled release of system fluid to ensure a safe and reliable working environment at low cost and with minimal maintenance requirement.
These quick-acting and versatile flow switches have a working pressure range of 0 to 6000 psig
(0 to 414 bar). A variety of different seal and body materials is offered to enable the valve’s use with any liquid or gas service, while versatility is further ensured by a choice of end connections which allows assembly in most systems or applications.

For additional system application flexibility, the XVH excess flow valve’s spring-loaded poppet can be mounted in any orientation. Additionally, both automatic and manual reset versions are available.
The bleed valves on automatic models have an 'anti-clog' wire
that prevents fluid build-up at the bleed port to increase reliability. Manual valves assure zero leakage until individually reset.
Colored ring bands on all models provide engineers and maintenance staff with a useful instant visual indication of valve type, trip range and seal material.

The GO HR-1 hydraulic pressure regulator controls pressures up to 20,000 psig (1379 bar), with a universal range spring enabling a
single configuration for

all pressure ranges and piston-sensing operations claimed to give the highest accuracy and reliability at high pressures.
In-line servicing minimizes system downtime and eliminates costly process shutdowns, while a special low adjusting torque design makes pressure setting considerably easier than normal.
A heavy-duty panel mounting collar simplifies panel installation and a segregated vent port allows hydraulic fluid to be captured and vented back to the desired storage location.
Ideal for all critical hydraulic industrial, offshore, component test/calibration and pressure boosting applications, the regulator’s tungsten carbide poppet is highly resistant to erosion that is typical of high velocity hydraulic fluid applications.

Two versions are available: a manually controlled model offering a variety of set pressure options and a dome-loaded regulator with a dual dome piston design allowing remote control of these units with minimal dome pressures.
Bodies are 316L stainless steel and O-rings are of Viton V709-90. A wide range of port types is available.
Flow coefficient is 0.06 Cv on the unit and 0.08 Cv on the vent valve.   Temperature rating is up to 175°F (79†C) on the inlet at up to 20,000 psig (1379 bar). On the outlet, manual-load versions have nine settings between 250 and 20,000 psig (17 and 1379 bar) while dome-loaded models cover 250 to 20,000 psig (17 to 1379 bar) with ratios from 20:1 to 363:1, with 500 psig (34.5 bar) maximum dome pressure.

New people are B.Eng graduates
CIRCOR Instrumentation has recently recruited two young graduate trainees. Moiz Buhadi, a B.Sc (Eng) graduate in Mechanical Engineering, joined our sales team in February. He is being trained on all aspects of the business. Fluent in Arabic, he will be taking a more active role with our distributors in the Middle East.
Spyros Tatarakis, with a B.Sc (Eng) in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, joined CIRCOR in October. He is also being trained on all aspects of the business. Fluent in Greek, he will specialise on the Circle Seal Controls products in European Markets.
CIRCOR on show in
three countries

CIRCOR Instrumentation exhibited at three key industry exhibitions in 2001: Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, Scotland; Interkama in Dusseldorf, Germany, and ISA in Houston, Texas. These shows allowed CIRCOR to meet key customers, introduce new products and support distribution. The resulting lead generation and company exposure was considered a success at all three events.
BASF Antwerp
To support the new BASF contract, CIRCOR has been working with the BASF Antwerp location. Over several months part numbers were converted to Hoke and Gyrolok and a stock book was developed including drawings of all components. Two hundred people were put through a Hoke/Gyrolok seminar and buffer stocks were developed ‘tuned’ to BASF's requirements, allowing the facility to start purchasing CIRCOR Instrumentation products.
Hoke Conforms to PED
Hoke incorporated will provide PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) conforming products to members of the European Union (EU).
This Statement of Conformity encompasses all valves, Gyrolok Tube and Pipe Fittings, Manifolds, Pressure Operated Actuators and Regulators up to DN25mm and PS from -0 to 414 BAR MAWP of Hoke Incorporated design and manufacture.
For the official Conformity Statement, please contact our offices.
