CIRCOR International has announced that Hoke products now conform to the PED as required by Article 3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/PC and under the Sound Engineering Practices of the UK.
A Statement of Conformity is available from the company for all Hoke manufactured valves, Gyrolok tube and pipe fittings, manifolds, pressure-operated actuators and regulators up to 25mm nominal pipe size and from 0 to 144 bar, maximum Allowable Working Pressure.
Design calculations and proof/burst testing data in accordance with ASME Pressure & Vessel Code provisions and required within the PED and SEP scope is retained on file and available to any EU Member State or Using Activity. Computer aided engineering drawings and product markings have been revised in accordance with PED requirements.
